First things first, weather is a lot cooler these days. Slightly overcast and cool breeze. It's lovely...even if it's not doing much for my developing tan. Oh well...many more months for that!
Saturday night, we went out for dinner (minus the kids) to a real deal sushi bar. Was super yum...!
Sunday was a bit of church and relaxation.
Today, we headed off to the zoo. Forgot the stroller though...we won't be forgetting that again ever! Haha. Highlights were the world's largest rhodent (Marie, thought you might enjoy this pic! Sick!), the flamingos whose legs bend both ways (crazy!) and the gorilla. And not to overlook the feeding of the giraffes who have the nastiest tongues and released a breath of not-so-fresh-air over Addie and Gabby. As you can see in the pic, Benny was a bit traumatised by the whole thing. That was my fault because when the giraffe extended its nasty tongue towards us, I shrieked which probably gave him more of a fright than the actual peaceful encounter with nature's animals itself. And this is not a joke, one of the giraffes had grown a crooked neck. Unfortunately we somehow missed getting a decent photo...but just imagine a giraffe with a broken neck...and that's what it looked like. Random as!
And tonight got in a bit of softball practice. Was super fun. It's an exhilirating feeling when the metal bat hits the ball. Wahoo. Take care.

I have just stalked the blog through and through and a couple of things really stood out:
1. The food. Am glad that you have been writing about this, personally I wouldn't let wheat filled plastic looking donuts anywhere near my mouth - but good for you, having the balls to eat them.
2. The spies. Note to others posting comments on Sonya's blog... remember that my attention in likely to be drawn to comments with my name in them!
3. The requests for extra photos of Mr Timbucktu. Requests for extra photos?! Where? Who? When?!!
Am glad you are having fun Miss Choc Derby... perhaps you would consider turning your blog into a matchmaking sight for those of us who are less fortunate than yourself. Not me of course, I have a friend who could use the help.
Randee, you are too funny.
1. Eat a good pork chop lately?
2. Think you're popular or something?
3. Okay, okay, I stole your code name. What are you gonna do? Nark on me to the law librarian or something?
And finally, would love to help your friend but will need to know some more details. Meat or wheat? Glassons or Gucchi? 10 years older or 5 years younger? Oh, and maybe a name?
Hi it is the not so anonymous one here again. We have a more pertinent question at hand today! When one of my anonymous colleagues and I were going over your pic's with a fine tooth comb as we do. we couldn't help but wonder the significance of that ring on a finger that we are convinced used to be bare?????? Please advise, Thanks Anon = )
oh, these comments aren't moderated anymore? :P
Hmmm...moderating comments sounds tempting right now! Didn't think I'd be embarrassed on my own blog! Actually, 'the ring' you ask about was a going away present from my big sis. It actually doesn't fit comfortably on any other finger...but maybe I'll remove it to avoid any further confusion! Don't worry, when I'm sporting a pink diamond...then you'll know. ;)
