Quiz

Apologies in advance to Miranda...I mean Miranda's friend! But...this is some light entertainment for those who are not vehemently opposed to non-fair trade coffee (And if you are, you might feel more comfortable on Tim Hart's blog). Anyway, yes, yes, it's Christmas time since the beginning of November and so Starbucks now serves coffee in red cups with green cup holders. Don't get me wrong, I only have about one every now and then...but certain people are always asking about Starbucks...(Shelley and Jane to name a few...who secretly want to throw their law degrees away to don the green uniform and serve the American addiction...anyway this post is for you guys!) So...if you're at work and sneakily perusing the blog community...here's something slightly more entertaining than clock watching...

What is this particular drink? There is a prize for the winner. But I don't think anyone will ever get it...so probably don't need to confirm what the prize is.

Disclaimer: This blog is not an expression of opinion in any shape or form as to the plight of the Ethiopian farmer. Neither is it condoning of poor work ethics.

Funnily enough, in NZ at least, although general coffee at Starbucks is not fair trade, they do have a fair trade brand that you can request.

Whilst it may not make up for their other violations of human dignity, I guess that's a start...

Wow, Char that is amazingly good...even if not quite right.
It's a pumpkin spice *something* (which I'd never heard of til I came to Candada) with extra-foamy (not fluffy) N***** milk

Jacqs, If I'm getting up for the dawn parade you're coming with me! And remember, there is no condemnation for those who...read blogs ;). Hehe.

Hey Ana, that's true...there is an alternative. Do people even go to Starbucks in NZ? Not many that I know off. In Christchurch, Coffee Culture rules the party.

Yes I am pretty talented. I would now say a pumpkin spice frappicino with nonfat milk. So whats my prize. THat is pretty good if I got the pumpkin spice bit right first of.

Amazing. I think it's pretty funny that people flavor their coffees with things that don't exist, unless pumpkin has turned into a spice since the last time I looked.

In my opinion Miranda, pumpkin spice is refering to the spices used specifically in certain pumpkin dishes. eg pumpkin pie. I don't know for certain but would think this to mean spices like nutmeg, maybe cinnamon, all spice. However, I could be wrong and Sonya can bring you home the actual pumpkin spice we know nothing about.

Okay, it was a tall Pumpkin Spice Americano Misto (filtered/brewed coffee with foamy milk) extra foamy, nonfat milk.

But Theresa and Charmayne can both get a prize for guessing. I'll bring something home. Hehe. Any requests? (I've got the request about the butterfingers already. :))

I would love for someone to educate me upon my company's "violations of human rights" . Seriously...I'm ALL ears! Hey, what about that whole OXFAM thing anyway. Anyone care to educate me OR better yet discuss the practices of OXFAM and what THEY are doing for the Etiopian farmers??? Oh right, I forgot we are Starbucks and sooooooo evil :} Waiting.....
